Shoppers may purchase an extended warranty for an item per the member's request.
To purchase an extended warranty, shoppers can add it to the member's order as a custom item.
- Shoppers should not sign anything that attaches them to this extended warranty
- If there is documentation that must be provided for the warranty, this should be provided to the member at delivery. Keep in mind, the store receipt should not be given to the member — if a warranty's documentation includes a portion of the store receipt, shoppers may tear off that portion of the receipt to give to the member.
Prepaid Order Warranties:
If a warranty is placed as a special request item for a Prepaid order, the shopper should mark that item as Not Found. Warranty information will be sent as an email to the customer as a result of their purchase on the store's website.
