Shoppers may purchase an extended warranty for an item per the member's request.
To purchase an extended warranty, shoppers can add it to the member's order as a custom item. Consider reviewing the tips from top shoppers below:
- Retailers request that shoppers do not sign anything that attaches them to the extended warranty.
- If there is documentation that must be provided for the warranty, this should be provided to the member at delivery. Keep in mind, the store receipt should not be given to the member — if a warranty's documentation includes a portion of the store receipt, shoppers can tear off that portion of the receipt to give to the member.
- Prepaid orders only: If a warranty is placed as a special request item for a Prepaid order, shoppers can mark that item as Not Found. Warranty information will be sent to the customer via email.
